Founding of the company
Founding of the company by Herman Krehl, the "German father of Value Analysis / Value Engineering".
Offering VA/VE seminars and training courses in cooperation with the VDI (Association of German Engineers), thus spreading VA/VE as a management tool in Germany.
Increase of project work
In addition to the seminars, companies were increasingly interested in temporary support, i.e. facilitation and project management of VA/VE projects.Thus, the seminar company becomes a consulting company.
Expansion of the range of services and operating radius
In addition to VA/VE, topics such as group dynamics, comparative cost calculation and activity costing are offered.
The operating radius will be expanded to include German-speaking countries outside Germany.
Founding of Krehl & Partner - "Organization and Management"
Founding of the division "Organization and Management" and thus entry into the service fields of organizational development, strategic orientation and management organization. This made it increasingly possible to offer customers a portfolio of services in order to strengthen competitiveness in an integrated manner.
First generation change
The partners Hermann Krehl, Gerhard Eisenacher and Wolfgang Freimuth hand over the company to Philipp Blattert, Wolfgang Roloff and Andreas Müller.
Internationalization
Cooperation with a globally operating company group in the medical technology sector: at the latest now, the consulting group, which has so far concentrated mainly on the German-speaking countries, becomes an internationally active company. Since then, our consulting projects have extended to all of Europe, the USA and large parts of Asia.
Second generation change
Wolfgang Roloff and Andreas Müller transfer their shares in full to Dr. Marc Pauwels and Sebastian Meindl. Thus, 3 active partners are again in charge of Krehl & Partner.
Introduction of the VA/VE Software "VE-Master"
Introduction of the database-based VA/VE software "VE-Master", a joint development project with the US American partner nwis.net. The software primarily offers support to companies that conduct VA/VE activities at several locations and want to share the knowledge gained from these activities.
Introduction of agile practices
Extension of the methodological competence by the introduction of agile practices in VA/VE and their application in VA/VE projects of Krehl & Partner.
The well-founded basis for the integration of agile approaches and VA/VE was developed in the context of a master thesis and achieves even better efficiency in our projects.
50th anniversary
Krehl & Partner celebrates its 50th anniversary. 50 years of successful work with and around the methodology VA/VE. During this time many other methods were developed which support our current range of services and are used for the benefit of our customers. We want to continue this in the future.
