Philipp Blattert has been working for Krehl & Partner since 1996 – since 1999 as managing director and president. His consulting activities focus on the optimization and redesign of development and manufacturing processes under lean aspects as well as the goal-oriented management of product development projects. After studying mechanical engineering, Philipp Blattert initially worked for several years in the automotive industry on topics relating to product and production optimization. In addition to his postgraduate studies in business administration, he has a qualification as Professional in Value Management (PVM).

Sebastian Meindl has been working for Krehl & Partner since 2003, since 2008 as managing director and president. His consulting focus is on the planning and implementation of VA/VE projects for the optimization of existing or future products and processes, primarily in the mechanical and plant engineering sector. After his graduation as Dipl.-Ing. (Master in mechanical engineering) Sebastian Meindl worked as a research assistant in the field of industrial research in the areas of design & engineering, CAD and mechanical motion technology at the University of Siegen.

Sebastian Meindl has been active for more than 10 years as a volunteer in the VDI and is deputy chairman of the expert advisory board for VA/VE. He also holds the European certifications Professional in Value Management and Trainer in Value Management (PVM and TVM) as well as the international Value Management certification Certified Value Specialist (CVS).

Dr. Marc Pauwels has been working for Krehl & Partner since 1999, since 2002 as a president and later also as managing director. His consulting activities focus on the planning and implementation of VA/VE projects for the optimization of existing or future products and processes. Dr. Pauwels has extensive international project experience, both in Europe as well as in Asia and North America. ​

Dr. Pauwels has been chairman of the VDI Society for Product and Process Design (GPP) since 01.01.2018. In addition, Dr. Pauwels was chairman of the VDI’s VA/VE/Value Management department for more than 15 years. He holds the European certifications Professional in Value Management and Trainer in Value Management (PVM and TVM) as well as the international Value Management certification Certified Value Specialist (CVS).

Dr. Werner Engeln has been working for Krehl & Partner since 1997. He is also professor for product development at the University of Applied Sciences in Pforzheim, where he is also director of the heedPF institute, which is concerned with new processes and working methods in product development, among other things. He brings his expertise and the latest research findings to his consulting activities. After studying mechanical engineering and automation technology, Professor Engeln worked as a research assistant at the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation (IPA) in Stuttgart and received his doctorate at the University of Stuttgart. He gained industrial experience as head of product development at an internationally active construction machinery manufacturer.

Carsten Hohmuth joined Krehl & Partner in 2011. After studying Industrial Management and Engineering, he gained 11 years of industrial experience, primarily in the automotive supply industry. His activities ranged from work preparation and process management to production management. His main focus is on lean management methods, project management, industrialization of new projects, product and process design and the introduction of production systems. In addition, he has project experience in the areas of development of castings, general mechanical engineering and electronics industry.
Carsten Hohmuth also holds the European certifications Professional in Value Management and Trainer in Value Management (PVM and TVM).

Reinhard Gasser

Reinhard Gasser has been with Krehl & Partner since 2022. His consulting focus is on materials management and procurement. This ranges from the design of secure supply and value chains to the optimization of purchasing organizations and procurement prices in several industries with a focus on mechanical engineering. As a mechanical and industrial engineer, he worked in the manufacturing industry in various specialist and management positions before switching to consulting. Reinhard Gasser gained experience in logistics, production, purchasing, work preparation, cost management and in relocating production plants. He has also worked on many cost optimization projects and managed them independently.

Siamac Kouscheschi

Since August 2023, Mr. Kouscheschi has been a freelance consultant and senior consultant for Krehl & Partner in the area of ​​planning and implementing value analysis projects to optimize products and processes as a certified VDI value analyst. After graduating as a qualified business engineer, he worked primarily in project and quality management in the automotive industry, mostly in a leading position, which gave him a deep insight into development. Most recently, from 2018-2022, as managing director in special machine construction, he was able to expand his wealth of experience in production, especially in the press shop and post-treatment in the paint shop. He was able to expand his project experience beyond the European market and into the Asian market. As a freelance consultant, he has been supporting companies with his technical and commercial expertise in various business areas and across industries since 2022. Mr. Kouscheschi is also trained as a QMB, ISO TS 16949 1st/2nd Party Auditor and data protection specialist.

Felix Ott has been working with Krehl & Partner since 2017. His consulting focus lies in the areas of development, design and rapid prototyping. After studying mechanical engineering, he gained industrial experience in the development and optimization of automation solutions. He has a profound knowledge in the fields of additive manufacturing and robotics. He takes over the production of additive manufactured prototypes in his MakerSpace in Pforzheim for our customers himself.

Peter Monitor joined Krehl & Partner in 2010. His consulting focus is on the introduction of value management and VA/VE methods. He has 25 years of experience in project and management functions worldwide. On the one hand, he was responsible for cost and process optimization in production and on the other hand for international business development. His industry focus lies in the automotive supplier and electronics sectors, among others. He is certified as Professional in Value Management and Trainer in Value Management (PVM and TVM).

Since June 2020, Peter Muhr is an independent consultant and business partner of Krehl & Partner in the areas of more strategically oriented consulting tasks.
His professional career is characterized by profit and management responsibility in the international area (England, Spain, Czech Republic, Sweden, Germany, China, South Africa, Brazil, USMCA, Japan, Korea…), most recently as CEO and Executive Vice President of the Bühler Motor Group (2006-2019), and before that by management positions in the Brose Group (1986-2005) and at Bosch (1984-1986).
His focus is on strategic and operational corporate management using balanced scorecards to optimize processes and increase efficiency.
This was implemented in projects in the areas of restructuring, reorganization, agility, performance improvement, leadership and leadership.

As a civil engineer (graduated from RWTH Aachen University), Imran Sevis has been an independent consultant and business partner of Krehl & Partner in the construction industry field since December 2020 and has over 35 years of professional experience. His professional career has been shaped by the handling of major projects in water management, especially in the dam department. He worked for several years in engineering offices, most recently as head of the hydraulic engineering department at an engineering office in Essen. His work is particularly characterized by his creativity. In eight Idea Competitions, seven of his projects took first place and another project was awarded First Prize from the State of Saxony. Imran Sevis has spent a decade trying to achieve the best project results. He has accompanied numerous value engineering studies in the construction industry. He has a qualification as a Professional in Value Management (PVM).

Barbara Gröbe-Boxdorfer

Barbara Gröbe-Boxdorfer joined Krehl & Partner in 2008. Ms Gröbe-Boxdorfer studied industrial design and product development. She worked for several years in a design office in Stuttgart, with a focus on the capital goods industry. Ms. Gröbe-Boxdorfer is currently working as an academic assistant at the University of Applied Sciences in Pforzheim, where she teaches design and product ergonomics in the master’s degree course in product development. Her expertise lies in the areas of product optimization under ergonomic, design and economic criteria and the analysis and optimization of processes.
