Philipp Blattert
Further information
Philipp Blattert since 1996 at Krehl & Partner – since 1999 as President and Partner. His profession is optimization and reorganization of design and manufacturing processes under Lean-aspects as well as in the targeted control of product development projects.
After studying mechanical engineering Philipp Blattert was initially employed for several years in the automotive industry with product- and production optimization. In addition to a business management graduate, he has a certification of Trainer Value Management (TVM).
Sebastian Meindl
Further information
Sebastian Meindl is with Krehl & Partner since 2003. He took office as Managing Director in 2008. His consulting focus is planning and conducting Value Analysis projects to optimize existing or to-be products and processes, mainly in machinery and plant engineering. After he graduated as Dipl.-Ing. (machinery engineering), Sebastian Meindl engaged as scientific researcher at Siegen University in industry projects for construction techniques, CAD, and mechanical motion technique. Sebastian Meindl has been active as a volunteer in the VDI for more than 10 years and is currently Deputy Chairman of the Value Analysis Advisory Board. He is also a member of the VMBoK (Value Management Body of Knowledge) Board of SAVE International®. Sebastian Meindl holds the European certifications Professional for Value Management and Trainer for Value Management (PVM and TVM).
Dr. Marc Pauwels

Dr. Marc Pauwels is with Krehl & Partner since 1999, since 2002 he is one of its Presidents. His consulting focus is the planning and conducting of Value Management projects to optimize existing or to develop new products and processes. Dr. Pauwels has comprehensive and international experience, both in Europe and in Asia and North America.On an honorary basis, Dr. Pauwels was Chairman of the VA/VE department within VDI for over 15 years and Chairman of the VDI Society for Product and Process Design (GPP) from 2018 to 2024. Since 2024, he has been a member of the VDI’s Financial Advisory Board and shareholder representative of VDI e.V. in VDI GmbH. He holds the European Professional in Value Management and Trainer for Value Management (PVM and TVM) certifications as well as the international value management certification Certified Value Specialist (CVS). Finally, he holds the European and International VM Trainer certifications VM1 to VM3 and VMF 1B
Prof. Dr. Werner Engeln

Dr. Werner Engeln has been with Krehl & Partner since 1997. He is also a professor of product development at Pforzheim University, where he is also head of the heedPF institute, which deals with new processes and working methods in product development, among other things. He brings his expertise and the latest research findings to his consulting work. After studying mechanical engineering and automation technology, Professor Engeln worked as a research assistant at the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation (IPA) in Stuttgart and earned his doctorate at the University of Stuttgart. He gained industrial experience as head of product development at an international construction machinery manufacturer.
Carsten Hohmuth

Carsten Hohmuth is with Krehl & Partner since early 2011. After his study of Industrial Management and Engineering he worked 11 years in automotive supplier industry (thermo management and electromagnetic actuators). His fields of activities covered industrial engineering, process development as far as production management. At Krehl & Partner his focuses are Value Management methods in product/process improvement and development, lean management methods, project management and the implementation of production systems. In addition he has experiences in the development of casting parts, manufacturing systems engineering and electronic industry. He has the certification of Trainer Value Management (TVM).
Reinhard Gasser
Further information
Reinhard Gasser is with Krehl & Partner since 2022. His consulting focus is on materials management and procurement. This ranges from the design of secure supply and value chains to the optimization of purchasing organizations and procurement prices in several industries with a focus on mechanical engineering. As a mechanical and industrial engineer, he worked in the manufacturing industry in various specialist and management positions before moving into consulting. Reinhard Gasser gained experience in logistics, production, purchasing, work preparation, cost management and in the relocation of production plants. He has also worked on and independently managed many cost optimization projects.
Felix Ott
Further information
Felix Ott has been working with Krehl & Partner since 2017. His consulting focus is on development, design, and rapid prototyping. After studying mechanical engineering, he gained industrial experience in the development and optimization of automation solutions. He has in-depth knowledge in the fields of additive manufacturing and robotics. He produces additive manufacturing prototypes for our customers himself in his MakerSpace in Pforzheim.
Peter Monitor
Further information
Peter Monitor has been working as an independent consultant since 2006 and has been a business partner at Krehl & Partner since 2010. His consulting work focuses on international business development, management and leadership, including the integration and optimization of product management and value analysis. In this context, he combines business administration with technical expertise while also moderating interdisciplinary teams.
His consulting work has focused on industrial companies. His industry focus includes the automotive supply and electrical sectors.
After studying electrical engineering and business administration, he qualified as a Professional Value Manager (PVM) and Trainer for Value Management (TVM). He also obtained certification as a Diplom Consultant from the Sankt Gallen Business School.
Siamac Kouscheschi
Further information
Siamac Kouscheschi has been a freelance consultant and senior consultant at Krehl & Partner since August 2023, working as a certified value analyst (VDI) in the field of planning and implementing value analysis projects for the optimization of products and processes. After graduating with a degree in industrial engineering, he focused on project and quality management in the automotive industry, mostly in leading positions, which gave him deep insight into development. Most recently, from 2018 to 2022, he was able to expand his wealth of experience in manufacturing, especially in the press shop and post-treatment in the paint shop, as managing director in special machine construction. He was able to expand his project experience beyond the European market to the Asian market as well. As a freelance consultant, he has been supporting companies with his technical and commercial expertise in various business areas and across industries since 2022. In addition, Mr. Kouscheschi is trained as a QMB, ISO TS 16949 1st/2nd Party Auditor, and data protection specialist.
Bastian Stegen

Bastian Stegen has been working as a senior consultant since 2024 and has extensive experience in sales, digitalization, and international business. After studying business administration and technology, he spent over 15 years driving sales and digital transformation initiatives in various industries, including aerospace, advanced manufacturing, automotive, industrial engineering, and the plastics industry. His expertise lies in defining future sales channels, optimizing trading strategies, and implementing data-driven sales processes. At Krehl & Partner and for its clients, he focuses on international business, sales, and distribution strategies and supports companies in expanding their global presence. In addition, he has extensive experience in southern Africa and across the continent, where he supports companies with market entry, business development, and high-tech consulting. His background also includes expertise in rapid prototyping, which he uses to help companies accelerate product development and innovation.
Peter Muhr

Peter Muhr has been an independent consultant and business partner of Krehl & Partner since June 2020, focusing on more strategically oriented consulting tasks. His professional career has been marked by responsibility for results and leadership in an international context (England, Spain, Czechia, Sweden, Germany, China, South Africa, Brazil, USMCA, Japan, Korea…), most recently as CEO and Managing Director of the Bühler Motor Group (2006-2019), and prior to that in management positions at the Brose Group (1986-2005) and Bosch (1984-1986).His focus is on strategic and operational corporate management using balanced scorecards for process optimization and efficiency improvement. This has been implemented in projects in the areas of restructuring, reorganization, agility, performance improvement, management, and leadership.
Imran Sevis

Imran Sevis is a civil engineer (RWTH Aachen University) who has been working as an independent consultant and business partner of Krehl & Partner in the field of construction since December 2020 and has over 35 years of professional experience. His professional career has been marked by the management of large-scale projects in water management, particularly in the field of dams. He worked for several years in engineering firms, most recently as head of the hydraulic engineering department at an engineering firm in Essen. His working style is particularly characterized by creativity. Seven of his projects won first place in eight idea competitions, and another project received the Saxon State Prize.
Imran Sevis has spent a decade working on how to achieve the best project results. In doing so, he has accompanied numerous value engineering studies in the construction industry. He is a qualified Professional in Value Management (PVM).
Barbara Gröbe-Boxdorfer

Barbara Gröbe-Boxdorfer ist seit 2008 bei Krehl & Partner. Frau Gröbe-Boxdorfer studierte Industrie Design und Produktentwicklung. Sie war mehrere Jahre in einem Stuttgarter Designbüro tätig, mit Arbeitsschwerpunkt in der Investitionsgüterbranche. Frau Gröbe-Boxdorfer arbeitet zurzeit als akademische Mitarbeiterin an der Hochschule Pforzheim und lehrt dort die Fächer Design und Produktergonomie im Masterstudiengang Produktentwicklung. Ihre Expertise liegt in den Bereichen der Produktoptimierung unter ergonomischen, gestalterischen und ökonomischen Kriterien und der Analyse und Optimierung von Prozessen.
