VDI-certified Training VM 1:
Value Analysis / Value Engineering / Value Management

Goals:

In the training, knowledge is imparted in order to

  • get to know the holistic VA/VE methodology,
  • to be able to apply VA/VE in first/simple projects,
  • to be able to work as a team member on VA/VE projects,
  • to understand the importance of the customer’s view,
  • to understand and apply creativity and its meaning and
  • to understand the VA/VE and its step-by-step systematic approach.


At the end of the training, the participants are able to actively participate in VA/VE projects and to make a contribution as well as to facilitate smaller VA/VE project tasks.

Training design:

The training is designed as a 3-day training and consists of lectures, discussions and practical exercises as well as a case study. Participants will receive training documentations.

At the end of the training, the participants will receive an official certificate from the VDI. This entitles them to participate in the advanced training “VM Module 2”. The modules mentioned are part of the Europe-wide certified qualification as “Professional in Value Management” and “Trainer in Value Management”.
