"Efficient Energy revolutionizes the refrigeration market with its unique Bluezero technology. The special feature is that simple tap water (R718) is used as the refrigerant and thus cooling capacities of up to 120kW per unit can be achieved. About 100 systems are already successfully in operation at well-known customers from the IT and manufacturing industries. Further growth will require refrigeration machines (eChillers) with greater capacity and even further improved efficiency. In order to secure the concept developed until mid-2019 and to achieve the very demanding target manufacturing costs, shareholders and management have decided to engage Krehl & Partner for the implementation of a value analysis project. Within a few months, the project team, together with Krehl & Partner, managed to significantly reduce the estimated manufacturing costs of the first concept and thus to map the required business case. This result was achieved by the stringent approach of Krehl & Partner, starting with the sorting and concentration of the target customer segments. In general, it was very helpful for us that discussions and decisions were based solely on facts. In addition to all the factual advantages of the working method, the project had a very positive effect on the cooperation and mutual acceptance of the disciplines involved as well as on project management. The successful work has led us to anchor the value analysis method and agile project management methods in our processes.
